No Noel Solo Album This Year

I for one am truly gutted Crying or Very sad

Noel Gallagher has spoken out about the rumours of a solo album, denying that there will be one released at the end of this tour.

Noel is currently on tour with Oasis, however speculation has been rife that Noel will release a solo album by the end of 2009. Noel has refutably denied these claims in a recent interview saying, “Some might say they're all solo albums but they've just got the band's name on the front. There are no plans to do anything after this tour but go on holiday. I've got lots of songs that wouldn't really (suit Oasis)."

Noel also had another pop at Welsh songstress Duffy. On the subject of writing songs for other artists Noel said, I'd rather trap my finger in a door (than give her a song).

I honestly believed this would be the perfecr timing for it esp with the solo gigs planned and all the new soundchecks leaking.. But then again there is still time and I believe one day he will release one.

He's a lazy bastard, I dont think we would see anything from him untill late 2010 early 2011. He'll have to have a year off when they finish the tour......because he can!!

i think we will definitely see some more solo performances in the near future but im not sure he'll release a solo album whilst Oasis are still together.

Was on a few Oasis sites that he is rumoured to be doing a few dates this Winter.. that was a few months back.
